Solano County Fair             Best Buy: “We are definitely going to do this show again. This is a great way to inform the public about what we have to sell. We enjoy working with Tony.”

7 Things Promoters Neglect To Tell You

1. What percentage of advertising dollars do they plan on spending at their events.
2. How many people attend their event.
3. If and when your booth location will be moved.
4. How long that show has been running.
5. How many similar vendors are participating in the show. For example, 20 pool companies or 30 siding companies.
6. There is oftentimes no refund under any circumstances.
7. Additional charges such as renting tables and chairs, or additional electricity charges.

T & D Productions' Answers

1. We typically spend anywhere from 75 - 85% on advertising.
2. We do our best to keep an accurate account of patrons attending our shows (we do not practice over-inflating).
3. We always notify our vendors in advance of any changes in vendor location.
4. Each of our shows are clearly advertised (no guesswork).
5. We cap all categories of vendors to between three and five vendors per category.
6. We always refund (or give credit) provided there is a legitimate reason to cancel and it is given in a timely manner.
7. We post all of our prices clearly on all of our written materials.
